Comcast Follow Up

I received a Comcast email today with the subject line of “Coming Soon...The Fastest Fast from Comcast”. Included in the email was this video link – click here. I watched the video and when I saw the wooden shed explode I thought to myself “That’s probably what the Comcast Server did when they did the upgrade last Tuesday morning between midnight and 6:00 AM.”

I must add that when the first Technician came out and attempted to solve the problems without success, he made a phone call and the said “The upgrade was to bring all the current high speed access accounts up to the current highest speed because Comcast was going to introduce an even higher access speed for an extra cost.” This today’s email validates that statement. So every excuse given to me for the following fours days by several individuals goes right in the nothing garbage can.

Things seemed to have calmed down now and I have added the Comcast Customer Service phone number to the “One button” dialer on my home phone and all the cell phones. Now the only problem is when I am online and the screen pauses between links I find myself reaching for the phone as I turn to look at the Comcast modem lights.
I think I have “COMCAST Recall And Panic" Syndrome. I wonder if they have a phone number for the cure?
