When I find myself low on energy and need a “Pick-me-up” I do the following meditation. It can be done anywhere and anytime.
Running Energy Meditation
1) Sitting with feet on the ground or standing in Tai Chi stance, visualize a
line of white/gold energy flowing into the top of your head from
above, going straight down your spine and out from your tailbone into
the Earth.
2) Then visualize lines starting at the inside of each shoulder, running
down your chest to your thighs, down the inside of your knees to the
soles of your feet and into the Earth.
3) Let the energy flow into you and through you.
4) Now feel a stream of energy flowing up through your feet, up your
spine, to the top of your head.
5) Alternate the flow from up to down with the breath: on the in-breath
see the energy flowing up your spine to the top of your head; and on
the out-breath, see it flowing down your spine, through your feet, and
in to the ground.
Once you have the energy flowing focus on the breath. Let your mind wonder in to nothingness. Let your thoughts flow in and out of your mind, not holding to any one thought.
Do this for as long as you feel comfortable.
