Tiger Woods - Memorial Golf Tournament

Congratulations to Tiger Wood in winning the Memorial Golf Tournament today. It was another awesome come from behind victory.

This is a man that is coming back to the top of his game after that leg injury last year. I watched the end of the third round yesterday and saw that Tiger was playing very well and I knew that today was going to be something special.

Over Tiger’s career I have always enjoyed watching him do his “magic” on the golf course. It’s like watching Michael Jordon play basketball back when M.J. was at the top of his game. They both get in that “zone” and it’s a joy to watch.

Right from the beginning today I could tell he was “on”. Even the commentators mentioned how he was looking like the Tiger that is number one ranked in the world of golf. When he chipped in for the eagle on hole 11 he went on to birdie 17 and 18. The second shot on 18 was absolutely amazing. He left it fourteen inches from the hole and putted in for a birdie. Granted there were more players left on the course that could tie him for a play off, but they too had to birdie 17 & 18 to do it and I knew that was not going to happen. According to the commentators 17 & 18 were the toughest holes on the course.

Tiger was in the “zone” today and it was a special thing to watch. I must admit the only time I changed channels was during the commercials and that was to see who was leading in the Pocono 500, which I think is the most boring race N.A.S.C.A.R. has on its schedule. After a quick check I hit the remote back to the golf tournament to watch the real “magic”.

I talk about following your dreams often on my blogs and here is a perfect example of someone following their dream. According to the reporters Tiger is as dedicated as one can be in accomplishing his dream to be the best and break just about every record in the gold world.

The only thing left to say is “There is nothing better than watching Tiger play the game of golf. “
