D.U.I. Random Check Point

Many times in California I have seen where the police setup a random check point along a road to catch drunken drivers. Usually it’s after 7 or 8 at night on a Friday or Saturday. Today the police in our town setup one of these check points at rush hour in the north bound lane of a four lane road. They placed cones so that the north bound traffic had to squeeze into one lane to go through the check point. Because this was a local road, with stop lights every block, the north bound traffic was lined up for several miles because of this check point.

Nothing comes close to how grateful I am because I was south bound and breezing right along down the highway
